Dianna:
Thank you for posting that great data! I have recently begun attempting to
sort out the following Wake NC CLIFTON's; perhaps someone already has?:
Thomas CLIFTON b ~1734, in Franklin/Wake NC area 1763 to ~1800
(Thomas) Nathan CLIFTON b 1758. In Franklin/Wake NC 1790 went to TN > MO
Winna CLIFTON Williams b 1759. Found in Franklin/Wake NC 1780 to 1818 went
to TN (died there)
Ezekiel CLIFTON b 1760-1770. Found in Franklin/Wake NC 1799-1817, went to
VA > TN > MO
Others:
Bailey CLIFTON b 1776
Wiley (Willie) CLIFTON b 1777
Littlebury (Berry) CLIFTON b. 1778
The above CLIFTONs appear in the Crossroads District in late 1700's to early
1800's. I don't have access to NC records, but have notes from researchers
dating back to 1929. I would welcome any documented facts regarding the
above CLIFTONs; I would like to establish their relationship to each other -
especially Ezekiel CLIFTON, my ancestor.
I'm not sure if these CLIFTONs are related to William and John of Sussex VA.
Thanks for any assistance,
Mark

Trying to verify the family of Thomas Nathan CLIFTON 1758-1862 born in
Raleigh NC, died in MO.
It is said that his daughter Narcissus Rena CLIFTON married a NORMAN in
Tennessee, and moved to Mississippi prior to the rest of the family leaving
Lawrence TN for Greene/Webster MO in 1837.
Can anyone help me with the children of Thomas Nathan? I would like as much
substantiated information as I can get, as I have seen at least 4 versions
of Thomas Nathan CLIFTON's family.
Regards to All,
Mark

Would love to hear from anyone who has any information (or possible
information) on the following:
William Clifton married Polly (or Mary) Sproles 1805 in Belmont County, OH.
They probably had more, but one of their children was named Levina, born abt.
1808.
Levina Clifton married David P. Davis in Belmont County, OH in 1824.
Thanks,
Carolyn Davis
