Thanks for the help :)

I just discovered an obituary index that I didn't know existed. The
James White Library on the campus of Andrews University in Berrien
Springs, Michigan has an on-line version of the Seventh Day Adventist
Periodical Index. Included as part of this index are obituaries from
Seventh Day Adventist periodical literature.
The address is http://143.207.5.3:82/screens/libinfo.02.html
or for more information about the library itself, try

Happy hunting, Ardie
This was posted to my web page can anyone help him? My line is KY/MO/IN/TX
(so far) I wrote to him and told him about our list. Thanks Barbara Guinn

Hello - I was just browsing your genealogy page. I am a Clifton descendant
who's just getting started on my family tree. I don't know if we're related.
All I know of my line is Joshua Clifton and Sarah Matilda (Tildy) Sweeten came
to Arkansas from TN? after Joshua's first wife died. We don't know her name
but her children by Joshua were William, Carrie, Fannie, and Adcie (all
probably nicknames). Joshua and Sarah had Columbus (Lum), Daniel, Sarah
(Sally), and my grandfather, Arizona (Zone). The story is that Arizona was
born (1892) in Visalia, CA when Joshua and Sarah were living out here with his
sister. When the sister died, they moved back to Arkansas where they settled
in Pearson. Arizona married Gracie Serena DeBusk (B1891) and they had Lillie,
Otis, Irvin, Winfred, and my mother, Jewel May. My father is Doyne Moore and I
am Donna June Moore Murphy. Let me know if any of this matches with what you
know. Maybe we're cousins? Any tips for me in my quest?

Hi Again!
I really apologize to those of you that tried to find our new web site.
I put too many letters in it! I will try to get it right this time! The
URL for our new Clifton Home Page is:
http://members.xoom.com/nkclifton/indexper.html
Thanks for your patience. I hope you will try us again. Kathy got a
bunch of messages telling her there was something wrong with the URL. I
will fess up and take the blame - I did it! I hope it is right this time.
I do have it right at the bottom of the page, where we list our web
sites.
Regards,
Neale
PS: Thanks to those of you who have already sent queries in for use in
the up coming issue of the CLIFTON CLAN CHRONICLE. We welcome any more
of you who want to contribute.
==================
Just a note to let you know we have a new web site which will let you
know
all the really "nitty gritty" stuff about us! Come to see us at our new
URL: http://members.xoom.com/nkclifton/indexpers.html It is called the
"Clifton Home Page".
Drop by for a spell. Check out some of our hobbies, pictures and links
to
our other sites. We are still working on it, so don't expect to learn
everything about us on your first visit.
Since we let you know about us, tell us about you! You can take our web
site poll, leave a message of a lot or of no substance on our message
(bulletin-forum) board, send us an e-mail. If you don't want to tell us
too much, at least drop by and say, "HI!"
Regards,
Neale and Kathy
