Received this from one of my cousins thought I would share it and see if

Hello Barb:
This may be some interest to someone and you may know where to direct it. 3
weeks ago, my yahoos & myself went up to tour Marengo Cave in Indiana....
thats about 30 miles west of Louisville, Ky. This cave, besides being
beautiful, was explored and mapped by a William Clifton, they called him
"Willie", he came from Ky and fell for the cave. Their talks during this tour
were based soooo much on Willie's love, work and dedication for this cave
until he could not continue after falling off a roof and hurting his back in
1980. He died some years after. I talked with the guide after this tour
trying to get alittle additional info, but she did not know any more then
what she told. I talked with others at the gift shop, but all were of younger
yrs and did not know much more, except that someone,(a relatative of Willie),
a year or soo ago, happened by chance, to tour the cave and made the
connection of their kinsmanship. She said the woman touring, went back home
and returned and had alot of photographs containing Willie, etc and the cave
owners paid a hugh sum for them. I left my address with them in hopes they
may provide alittle more information concerning this Willie Clifton, but have
not heard anything as of yet.
I dont know if this might be help to someone in their search, but I figured
if anyone would know who it possibly would, you very well might be the one to
know.

This is so much fun I received a very special message from Bob Jung (RE my
web page on Dick Clifton & the Dalton gang) he had a photograph and some
information to share. Please check out the page and see the picture.
"Grandma's kitchen" then "Dick"
I also want to thank everyone for the help and kind words in helping me get
my pages up and running. Also a special thanks to John W. Clifton of FL who
so kindly sent me the article that was first printed in his "Clifton's Of
Cornwall" news letter.
You all have a nice weekend hope to be hearing from you all soon with your
new findings.

Hi:-
I was told by a couple of you folks that you had trouble reaching my
web site to view my "new" old pictures of John, Martin, Elias and James. It
was suggested I wrote my URL down wrong. OK, maybe I made a mistake - again!
If you want to see the pictures, the URL of my web site is:
http://www.pilot.infi.net/~nkcliftn/cliftnpg.html
Please notice that in my wisdom, I did not include the "o" in clifton when
you type it in. Of course, you can also copy and paste it as I do since I
can't type worth a darn. Or, you can go to Carla's website and find mine
there and link to mine, or you can go to Alta Vista or another search engine
and type in neale clifton and find it that way.
Your comments on the pictures - or anything else is welcome.
