I am looking for info on Rev. Thomas Clift/Cliff, circa... mid to late 1700's. Thomas was a roving Methodist Minister. Wife was Elizabeth Welharfer/Wellhoefer (?), thought to be Swiss German, both thought to be in Orangeburg Cty. SC at one time. Settled in Brooks Cty, Ga. Both buried in Brooks Cty, Ga. in unmarked graves.
Children of Thomas and Elizabeth are Elenor br. 1808, Hester Ann, Margaret, Elizabeth, Jane and Martha Tatum.
Elenor married a Prine. I would love to have more information about this family. Thanks.
