Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Hi, I am a descendent of Joseph Clifford born in Ireland circa 1844. He
married Mary Goodwin of Saltsburg, Pa. In 1880 they were living in
Benwood, WVA. The census lists 6 children: James, Nancy, Katherine,
John, Joseph and Treacie. My grandmother, Margaret Clifford was born to
that family in 1881. I can find no trace of any family members in
Marshall County WVa. Margaret married Joseph Weber in Allegheny County,
Pa. in 1903. What happened to her kin? Any help, Please? Donna Weber

I am a descendent of Henry Clifford b. 1772 in (Cork County Ireland ??))
married Mary ______ b. 1787 in England. My line of Clifford's settled in
Athens county Ohio area before 1820, (1820 Miegs county Ohio census).
Children Eliza b. 1808, Ireland (?), Mary Ann b.1810,Lreland(?), Jno (John)
b. 1814, West Indies, Wellington b.1821 and Nelson b.1823 and Jane.
Wellington, Nelson and Jane were born in Athens county Ohio.
I have not come across a Joseph in my research.
Do you have any info that might help me ??

them here to all mentioned lists in the hopes that it will help in solving
someone's "mystery". If these records assist you, I would like to know

The nineteenth of May eighteen hundred and seventy-three we baptized I.J.
MARSHAL CROSS known as JAMES CLIFFORD aged twenty-four years, born in
HUNTINGDON, ENGLAND and married according to the law of the land to
ELISABETH WALSH. Sponsors Jos. Michand, Pst and Mis Mary O'Leary.
The same day in virtue of a power which was granted to us by his Lordship
the Bishop of St. John we received the profession of Faith of the to be
