You just made my Christmas complete. I have had a long dry spell on my mothers line. I have made some contacts out west on Thomas Audlins side but mostly info I knew from my mothers work. I have some letters you would be interested in and with the Christmas break coming up I can get to it.
I hope you like sharing info.
Talk to you soon,

I'm not sure if you have town in England correct. I believe it was Gedney. Anyway Thomas Cliff-Sarah Audlin Cliff were my 3G Grandparents. I am descended via Thomas Audlin Cliff then Henry Lees Cliff then Mabel Lucille Cliff Clifton then Phlyllis Eldore Clifton Rewey to me.
Henry Audlin Cliff spent much of his adult life in Wisconsin as a minister. He died in Iowa.

I'm helping friends with their genealogy. The surnames I have are Cliff, Thompson,Philippus, and Johns. The families I have are all in the Denver area in the 1800's to present. Does this link to anything you have? I'd really like to help them find more information to help with their research.

Hi I am trying to find out more about my Russian ancestors who's surname was Cliff, they moved to London( Old Montague St) England as immigrants in the late 1800's, and appear on the 1901 census, their names were Henry (harry) Cliff, and
Annie Cliff and had a son called Marks who was born in England
I don't think the name Cliff sounds very Russian, so I'm wondering if perhaps they changed their surname to a more English sounding name?
