While straightening some of my genealogy files I came across a list of names
one of whom was John Click of Alabama - first here's the source info:
Ancestry.com. Revolutionary soldiers in Alabama: being a list of names,
compiled from authentic sources, of soldiers of the American Revolution who
resided in the state of Alabama. Owen, Thomas McAdory, Montgomery, Ala. ??
Print Co. 1911. Page 20.
(Sorry my printer seemed to cut off the name of the print company but I can
look it up if anyone needs it)
>From the list of names:

CLICK, JOHN, resided in Jefferson county, on the East side of Valley Creek,
between the present Powderly and old Hawkins Big Spring. Here he built a
mill, which later became the property of his son, Moss Click.
I've lost track of the thread of this conversation so hope that I'm not
repeating information!!
I'm not related to this John Click but I try to collect information on all
of the different men with that name in that time frame. Hope it helps!!

Dear List,
I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a DNA project for Clicks. I was
wondering if there might be DNA proof of the different lines having a common
ancestor or how they are related.
I descend from Johannes Glück aka John Glick Sr. of Shenandoah Virginia. In
my research I have seen many references to a Cleek family in Virginia and
have often wondered if they are of the same family. Also the Glicks and
Clicks of Pennsylvania. I just thought it might be interesting to see if a
project had been started and how the Clicks and Glicks all fit together.
If anyone is researching any of the families of John Glick, Sr.
specifically John Click, IV (b. 1815 d. 1872) who lived in Botetourt Co.
Virginia and Montgomery Co. Indiana - I would really like to correspond!
Thanks!
