I wanted to thank everybody on this list and all of the "Click" chasers
everywhere for being so kind and helpful to my uncle, Paul Short, as he was
in search of his ancestors. He passed away Saturday evening after a long and
rewarding life. Someone on this list invited him to the Click reunion in
Kingsport last summer and it was the highlight of his life....he spoke of it
often and proudly wore his Click family reunion baseball cap everywhere. His
notebooks and legal pads are a blessing and legacy for all of us. God Bless
you all.

I am looking for information on James CLICK b. abt 1804 Washington Co. TN d.
between 1840/49 Cocke Co. TN who married ELLEN - who may possibly have been a
BAXTER or a LEWIS.
Their daughter Eliza Jane CLICK b. 1827 TN married abt 1848/49 Hamilton LEWIS
b. abt 1820 TN. They had one son I know of ELBERT LEWIS b. Nov 1849 Cocke
Co. TN
In 1850 ELLEN (?) CLICK had a CHARITY BAXTER, age 18 living in her household
who I think may have been a niece. ELLEN may have had a sister, LEANNAH,
possibly Charity's mother.
Can anyone clarify?
Thanks
Carolyn Whitaker
