Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
To All Click Cousins,
John Gluck, Sr., arrived in Virginia in 1768, and was one of the earlier
German Dunkards that traveled up the Shenandoa Valley. He served as a
preacher for the Brethren in the Holman's Creek area, which latter
became known as Flat Rock.
If you know if any members of the following families; Meadows, Swinney,
Werts, or Peters who married into the Line of John Gluck, Sr. please let
me know who they were and how they were related.
Thanks,
Jim of Okmulgee
I am looking for Phyllis Ann Merryman Cloyd who posted a query at genform in
November, 1998 regarding this Click family.
Does anyone know how I may reach her?

According to George W. Cleek's book "Early Western Augusta Pioneers" this
John Click was the son of Palser (Baldos) Click (cleek) one of the 4

While at the library today I ran across a book entitled"Some Early Virginia Marriages 1700-1799". In Vol 9 I ran across the marriage of Jihn Cleek-Elizabeth Jacobs in Rockbridge Co. in 1797. Would this John Cleek be the son Michael Cleek and Margaret Lutz? According to the decendency chart I have John Cleek b. abt 1763 and d.1857 inJefferson Co. AL. and married to Jane??
Regards to all.
Jerry

For Your Information
>Is there any way the Masons can help us find his grave site? He was a
pioneer, a Mason, and a hero from Texas history. It would be nice to know
his final resting spot.

I wish we could help, but the great amount of requests received for
genealogical information flooded our personnel at Grand Lodge, and the
Grand Secretary issued a new directive that
"Non-Masons (and Masons) may conduct research in the Library during
regular business hours. We are neither funded nor staffed to conduct research
for
other individuals or entities. Only published items on our shelves are
available. Archives are for official use of Grand Lodge."
If you knew which lodge your wife's gr-grand father was a member, then that
lodge may possibly still have some records. Being a secretary myself,
there's not much information of interest. Birthdate, maybe place of birth,
current address, maybe his occupation, some may show his father.
Sorry we couldn't be helpful to you.
Loyd
