Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Robert T (Snuffy) Clevenger
FARMLAND - Robert T (Snuffy) Clevenger, 91, of Ridgeville, IN, passed away
at 1:12 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2015 while in the company of family members
at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, Delaware County.
Robert was born in Windsor, IN on March 30, 1924, a son of the late Nola
(Duncan) and Ralph Clevenger.
He attended Albany Nazarene Church Albany, IN.
He served in the U.S. Army as a Cpl. He retired from assembly department at
Warner Gear Muncie.
Robert was an avid coon hunter, enjoyed livestock, spending time with
family and scratching lottery tickets at the Village Pantry in Farmland
(but he did not gamble).
He was the widower of Janiece (Woodard) Clevenger.
Robert is survived by two daughters, Lanna, wife of Roger Staver, of
Ridgeville, Teresa, wife of Jack Younce, of Farmland; four sons, Steve,
husband of Ann Clevenger, of Farmland, Mike, husband of Kathy Clevenger, of
Ridgeville, Dennis, husband of Pam Clevenger, of Terre Haute, Bruce
Clevenger, of Ridgeville; twenty-one grandchildren; fifty-two
great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; five sisters,
Juanita Jones, Mary Alice Bea, of Carmel, Naomi Brown, of Muncie, Maxine,
wife of Joseph Wilson, of Greensburg, Ruth Miller, of Muncie and a brother,
Jim, husband of Nancy Clevenger, of Farmland.
Besides his loving wife, Janiece and his parents, Robert was preceded in
death by daughter, Rhonda Clevenger; four brothers, Merril, Paul, Joseph,
and Ralph Clevenger and three sisters, Annabel Estes, Lucille Stephan and
Sara Kay Wick and two granddaughters.
Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2015 at MJS Mortuaries,
Farmland Chapel with Pastor Jonathan Edwards officiating.
Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2015 at MJS
Mortuaries Farmland Chapel.
Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery Farmland, IN.
The Randolph County Veterans will conduct Military Honors at Hopewell
Cemetery.
