Hagerstown High School, where he looked forward to celebrating his 50th
reunion this summer. He served 4 years in the United States Air Force as an
aircraft electrician, with time in Okinawa and in Korea during the USS
Pueblo incident. A part time job on base paid him in flying lessons, where
he discovered his love of flying, which eventually led him to flight
instructing and then a 33 year career as a commercial air freight pilot for
Airborne Express. He loved golf, camping, hiking, traveling by 5th wheel,
vegetable gardening, woodworking, playing cards, telling stories, and
political discussions.
Family and friends are planning to have a private celebration of Craig's
life this summer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his two
favorite charities, The Salvation Army or Goodwill Industries. Arrangements
