Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.

Richmond, Indiana - Mildred F. Carter, 87, of Richmond, died Wednesday
morning, November 26, 2014, at Forest Park Health Campus in Richmond.
Mildred was born in Brownsville, May 19, 1927, to Leroy and Vivian Lyons
Clevenger. She was a graduate of Brownsville High School and was married
April 14, 1948 to John C. Carter. Mildred spent 22 years as a military wife
while her husband completed his career with the U.S. Army. From 1968 to
1988, she was employed at Brantner Real Estate and Insurance, Richmond and
then managed Garwood Apartments in Richmond for the next ten years. Mildred
lived in Richmond since 1972. She was a lifetime member of the Brownsville
United Methodist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign
Wars, Post 1108. Mildred was an avid bingo player and a member of the Zonta
Club in Richmond.
Mildred is survived by her two daughters and their husbands: Patricia
Bollman and James of Williamson, NY; Janice Begoon and John of New Paris,
Ohio; two brothers: Donald Clevenger of Liberty, David Clevenger and his
wife, Peggy of Connersville; four grandchildren and their spouses: Kris
Comer of Union City, Marcy MacQueen and Mike of Grove City, Ohio; Jeremy
Bollman and Heather of Reistertown, Maryland; Charlene Wright and Clint of
Greenville, Ohio; five great-grandchildren: Carter and Luke MacQueen,
Lauren, Rachael and Aaron Wright; many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband
who died in 1979; her sister: Leona May Jones; and three brothers: Harold,
Norman and James Clevenger.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Showalter Blackwell
Long Funeral Home, Fosdick Chapel, Liberty, with Pastor Shelley Dodson of
the Brownsville United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow
in the Brownsville United Methodist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit at
the funeral home from 12 noon Monday until the time of service. Memorial
