I am looking for info on Daniel Clevenger and wife Rosa Welch as well as Daniel's father David. David was born in Cocke County ca1846 to Alexander and Elizabeth. I do not know who he married or when he died. Daniel died in 1909 and his children later lived with Rosa's parents James and Delia Welch. Any help would be appreciated.

Pg 357 of George Griffiths' "Clevenger Pioneer & Descendents" lists a (female) Clevenger probably marrying a Van Buskirk by license dated 22 Jan 1813 in Ross Co OH.
This is Juretta Clevinger, who married (or at least applied for a license to marry) Michael Van Buskirk on 8 Sep 1810 in Pickaway Co OH, according to records available in Pickaway Co. Pickaway County was formed from Ross County in Jan 1810. I believe these two records refer to the same two people and a singular marriage event, whether properly recorded or not.
Does anyone have a possible lead as to which Clevenger family (likely residing in VA in abt 1790) Juretta may have been a part? If she is part of the VA Clevenger's that moved to various parts of OH in the early 1800's, I cannot confirm which family it might have been.
Juretta and her husband Michael Van Buskirk had eight children, and she likely died between 1860 and 1870. She resided in Pickaway Co OH according to the 1850 and 1860 Census records, and other documents.
It would be wonderful to link Juretta Clevenger to one of the well-researched Clevenger families in the US.
Thanks,

Sorry I do not search as often as I would like so am not well organized. Clevengers in Macoupin County was done by Marge (Mrs Ron) Clevenger. They live in Silvis, Il. You could find them on line probably and contact them for that book. Marge could probably answer some questions.
I found the land deed on line. I was searching state land records. Do not recall where just was searching.
Sorry cannot be more specific. Hope to spend more time on this sometime in future.
Good luck!
