Loranzo Clevenger is listed in the 1880, 1900,1910, 1920 and 1930 Censuses. Apparently the census taker had a problem with his name as his names appears differently in almost every one as follows:
(1) 1880>TENNESSEE>COCKE>6-DIST appears as Clevinger, Loranzo aged 14
(2) 1900>TEXAS>STEPHENS>5 J-PCT appears as CLEVINGER, LORANSA aged 34 CLEVENGER LORANSA C
(3) 1910>TEXAS>COKE>6 J-PCT appears as CLEVENGER,LORANSA C aged 43
(4) 1920>TEXAS>COKE>6-PCT appears as CLEVENGER, LORANS A aged 53
(5) 1930>TEXAS>COKE>6 J-PCT appears as CLEVENGER LORENZY C aged 63
I believe that Loranzo Clevenger is my 2nd cousin (once removed) the son of Alexander Clevenger (born abt. 1840), the grandson of Alexander Clevenger (born Abt. 1816), and the great-grandson of ELIAS CLEVENGER. ELIAS CLEVENGER and NANCY WOOD are, I believe, my 4th great-grandparents.
Jim Houston

I am looking for his date/place of death, and confirmation as to who his mother and father were. I have him as the son of George and Elizabeth, but he may have been their grandson. Thanks for your help.
