Thank you for the information. I will certainly check back for other Clevenger pictures.
I am trying to find information on my Great Great grandmother Elizabeth
Clevenger. I found a marriage record in Virginia that indicated that her and my
great great grandfather Charles Grubbs was married the 13 Aug 1844 in
Frederick, Virginia. They had several children one being my great grandfather Charles
Wesley Grubbs (a twin). Others were John Wesley, Andrew and Mary. The twin
boys were in the civil war.
I believe that they may have moved to Mo after the civil war since that is
where my great grandparents were married.
If any one has any information as to when she was borne or died I would be
very grateful.
Thanks
Joe R Zehrung

Glad you like the photos. I have more to post but haven't had time this week. So check back.
George, Jacob, and Sarah are all children of Abe and Lydia. Sarah is my ancestor through her daughter, Gertrude Palmer Spade, my great-grandmother. One of my cousins, a granddaughter of Gertrude, has Gertrude's family Bible, which had all these photos, many with names written. There are also a ton of Clevenger and related obituaries, which I will be getting copies of within the next month. Once I have them I will attempt to share them with anyone who is interested.

We just viewed the Clevenger photos you posted and really appreciate you doing this. My wife is a descendant of William C. Clevenger, a brother of the Abraham Clevenger that you posted. We were wondering if you have any more information on the Jacob Clevenger, George Clevenger, and Sarah Clevenger Palmer pictured? We have several people with these names in our database but don't know if they correspond with those pictured. We have a few pictures of a couple of other Clevengers, of more recent generations (Amy Elmira Clevenger and her brother Sherman, children of William C. Clevenger).
