I think we are researching the same Clevenger line. DO you know if Sylvester's father was Sanford. If so we are a match . I would like to share notes with you.
Guess I should have just waited till morning to post when my mind was a
little fresher. I have another correction to my earlier post. John P.
Sinclair and Nancy Olinger Sinclair were the parents of Mahala Elizabeth
Sinclair. Nancy was the daughter of Philip D. Olinger and Elizabeth Schroder.

Ya'll I'm sorry I didn't proof this before sending it out. Of course, what I
meant to say was that Lena Leota Clevenger was a sister to my great
grandfather Ormsby Clevenger.

I have more information on this family including some of the Sinclairs. I
believe Mary Elizabeth, wife of John Sinclair was an Olinger. I just moved
to Missouri 2 days ago and have not unpacked my geneology records yet. I was
able to get my hands on a few documents to give you the above information
though.
If you are interested in more information, or would like pictures of the
graves of Job and Mahala, let me know and I will post them for you.
