I think that you can contact the Nacogoches Genealogical Society or the East Texas Research Center at Stephen F. Austin State University Library and they will be able to assist you.
You might write to Carolyn Erikson at 1614 Redbud, Nacogdoches, TX 75961 as she has a weekly column in the Daily Sentinel Paper and she publishes letters requesting genealogy information on locals.
The East Texas Research Center is in the Ralph W. Steen Library and I think if you just write to them in care of the library here in Nacogdoches, TX. They should be happy to assist you. I have several issues of the "Yesterday" magazine published by the genealogical society but did not find information on a James P. Clevenger. There was information on a Charles Clevenger and an Odell (female) Clevenger.
I am interested in an ancestor, George Clevenger b. 1713 in New Hanover, Burlington Co., NJ married a Deliverance Horner b. 12/18/1708.
