Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I may have information for you. But I am having major problems with my
e-mail. If you don't here from me in the next couple of weeks, e-mail me
again. I finally got on today after a month and I have completely lost
any messages sent to me the last part of Feb. and the first part of
March. This is not even me regular system and I can't figure out how to
print out my messages so I may lose your message somewhere. That's why I
want you to remind me if I don't get back to you.
Laurie - p.s. I have both Lair's and Clevenger's in my line

Bill, do you have any information on the family of John F. Clevenger of
Putnam County, Ohio? He married Lillian Reynolds May 5, 1897 in Putnam
County, Ohio. They had one daughter, Lillian Clevenger born in 1911.
Lillian lived in Putnam County until her death in 1989. I have a copy of a
short biography written by Lillian Clevenger about her life.....
Lillian (Reynolds) Clevenger was born December 24, 1871 and died August 30,
1971. She was the daughter of Roger S. and Sarah (Good) Reynolds. I
believe the parents of John Clevenger were Benjamin and Catherine
(Dutenhaver) Clevenger.
Thanks!
Don Reynolds
See page 278 of George Griffith's book. James Madison Clevenger was the son of
Thomas and Lydia (-----) Clevenger. They were in Wells and Blackford Cos.
You can find James and his family in the 1900 Randolph Co, White River Twp
census at 64-135-2-34. If his wife remarried in 1907, then he probably died ca
1905/6. Check for a death records in the counties in that area or I think that
you can write the state health dept and have them search a 5 year span for his
death any where in Indiana.
