Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
My mother cut this out of the paper for me, so all I know is that it was in
the Kansas City Star sometime in March 1999.
JOHN JEWELL CLEVENGER
John Jewell Clevenger, 79, Excelsior Springs, MO, died Saturday, March 6,
1999 at Excelsior Springs Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at
2 pm Tuesday, March 16, at the Prichard Chapel, Excelsior Springs; burial
will be in the Masonic Cemetery, Excelsior Springs. The family will greet
friends 7-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Contributions are suggested to
the Excelsior Springs Hospice.
Mr. Clevenger was born on January 1, 1920 in Excelsior Springs, MO. He was
a lifelong area resident. He was a WWII veteran serving in the Army Air
Corps. Mr. Clevenger was a machinist for CPC International in North Kansas
City, retiring in 1983. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Survivors
include three sons, Ronald Clevenger, Santa Ana, CA, John Jay Clevenger and
Robert Ray Clevenger, both of Excelsior Springs, MO; eight grandchildren;
and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a
great-granddaughter, Angela Mainar, and his wife, Edythe Clevenger , in
