Since posting has slowed down I'll take this opportunity to say thank
you for the newsletter. It was very informative. My line is I believe
throught Eleanor or Eleandor and her son James Clevinger. She is shown
in the 1850 census of Pike Co., Kentucky as Elen Syck, wife of William
Syck. A daughter is listed, Nancy Clevinger. Were these two children
illigetimate? Her son James takes the name Clevinger/Mullins later in
life. Also, searching for marriage records for James b 1835. I believe
I found him in Wise Co., VA in 1877 marrying a Vanover. Does anyone
have any ideas?
Thanks
Robin

am so looking forward to getting it. Because like so many others that is
researching the Clevenger family I feel like we are a little related. I also
want to order the other books you had listed in the news letter you write.
Thank you .
