No Sarah I don't know yet where William and family were in 1880. They
left here sometime after 1878 headed for Kas. or Arz. on the way one of the
boys died George I think 1882 at Hiawathia, Kas. They turned around and came
back and settled in Worth Co. Mo. in Middle Fork Township. That's just north
of Grant City. I need to make another trip down there, because I think most
of the kids got married there. I have some other information, but haven't
gotten it checked out yet. Most of the boys died in early manhood except
William Morgan. Or as a child. Its hard to find death records before 1880
here. Maybe I should go ahead and see if I can get death certificate of
William H. And just hope it gives the father and mothers name.

Do you know where they were in 1880? That is a very good census to
check. Good luck. Sarah

Yes, that seems a good fit. But he didn't get counted in either 1850 or
1860 in Indiana ! so where were they? WAs your Wm. H. alive in 1880? I
can't remember? If he was, check his census record to see where his
parents were born. S. Clevenger

after they got married. They had William M (Morgan) then he was 11 months
old. My grandmother had him born in Aug 1859. The cencus showed June or july

Hello Clevinger families,
My name is Robin Clay Oliver and I am searching for information
regarding James Clevinger/ Mullins. This man lived as a Clevinger in
Pike Co., Ky, Floyd Co., Ky. He is buried in Soward's Cemetery on
Beefhide Creek in Pike Co., KY. He married my gggrandmother, Nancy
Anderson Clay Clevinger Mullins, after her husband Marston Clay
disappeared around 1856. I believe but have no proof that his mother
was Eleander Clevinger, I think d/o Alexander Clevinger, and his father
was James Mullins, which James is beyond me. Any help would be
appreciated.
Thanks

Sarah dose your book cover any Clevengers born after 1859 that was in
Williams family? If so I might be interest in buying a book. Ettaline@

Also is there anyone there that has a Rosa or Rosella or Rose Clevenger
that Married Eliska McAtee. If so would be interest in that information.

To Sarah:
Don't know where Seth was born or married but he lived in Cour D Alene Idaho
in 1926 when his son Rex was born. He died in Oregon I think. That's about
all I have except that his wife was from Michigan.

Jane,
I forgot to mention Wm. Jasper's first wife Fannie Gideon. She died ca. 1889
but I have only what liitle info is in the pension papers on Wm. Jasper. They
lead me to believe that she might have died in Arkansas around Siloam Springs
but there was no stone located in a cemetery there by the board of pensioner
examiner that was working the pension of Sarah E. Stuart Keithley Gilmore in
the early 1920's. Wm jasper and Fannie Gideon had several children : James
Mc., Lewis A., Amos Green, Richard, Theodoisa and John. I have not tracted
all of these children though. Wm. Jasper and Fannie Gideon were married about
1 February 1860.
Connie
Jane,
Willis Keithley's wife Nancy Lee was the daughter of I believe Ambrose Lee.
Amborse and Lucy's son William Jasper Keithley was married to Martha Isabelle
Glossip in Ponce de Leon in Stone County, Mo. on 1 October 1892. There was a
divorce filed in the Taney County Court on 29 April 1898. They had a daughter
Dasiy Florence Keithley which Martha sought to draw part of William Jaspers
military pension for the support of the child. There is in the pension a
copy of the marriage certificate and the divorce. There is in the pension
record papers asking for support of the chold of that marriage. According to
the pension papers Sarah E. Stuart was married to Wm. Jasper on30 November
1899. Wm Jasper died on 1 September 1901 at Kissee Mills, Taney County, Mo. I
am not sure where he was buried.
The J. W. A. Keithley that is buried at Oak Ridge is James William Archibald
Keithley who was married to Frances Bell Stewart the daughter of Isaiah
Stewart and Nancy M. Gideon. They I believe were married on 15 February 1889.
James William Archibald is the son of Ambrose Lee Keithley. Ambrose Leee
Keithley is the son of James Keithley and Susannah Hodges. James is the son of
Willis and Nancy Lee Keithley.
Yes according to the military papers of James McDonald died at Matagorda
Island, Tx. He was in Co. F. 1Reg't L.A. Vol. His brother Newton also
severed in the Civil War for the 11 Reg't Cav. Vol. He was killed at Duvall's
Falls Arkansas and is buried in Duvall Falls Cemetery.

I am sorry to say my Mimi will be "out of pocket" for a few days. I'm
Angela, her oldest granddaughter. She is having some heart problems and
hopefully everything will be fixed and cleared up shortly. She say's not to
worry, she is in high spirit and I know she will pull thru beautifully.

rsearching Jefferson Co, TN. So add another one to your collection. He
was probably the son of Thomas and Psyche, but as far as I know there is
no proof of this.
Sarah
Connie, regarding your previous information........
I have Ambrose's parents as Willis A. and possibly Nancy Lee? I am also
wondering about Ambrose's son, William Jasper Keithley. I am showing from
Taney Co. Marriages J. W. A. Keithley marrying a Belle Glessup on 10/1/1892
(could this be Martha Glossip you listed)? She was born 3/11/1871 and died
12/21/1955. J.W.A. is buried in the Oak Ridge Cemetary of Taney Co. There is
also a W.J. Keithley marrying F. A. Stewart on 2/17/18?? (could this be the
Sarah Stuart you listed too)? I also have him married to Fannie Gideon as you
did.
I also have another son of Ambrose, James McDonald having died in the Civil
War on 3/28/1864 at Matagord Island TX.
Regarding Elizabeth Clevenger and Peter Lair's daughter, Nancy....where is
Chastain Cemetary that she is buried?
