Hi Listers,
I'm new to this list because I just moved back a generation on my tree and find myself searching for a gg-grandmother, Nancy CLEVELAND. John H. LYLE/LYLES ( b. abt. 1848 in TN or VA) married Nancy CLEVELAND (b. abt 1852 in IN). This info is taken from the funeral record of John and Nancy's son (also named John H.).
John H. (#2) was born in New Albany, IN on 6/7/1871.
On the Floyd Co. 1870 census, I find:
John H. (#1), age 22, wife Nancy, age 18, and son William, age 7 mo.
If anyone has a connection or shows a Nancy CLEVELAND in their tree that might fit this information, I'd love to hear from you. I'm also available to swap research from the east Tenn. area.
Thank you for reading and for any help.
