Hi all, this is the newbie again. I thought that I'd share
my Cleveland related WWW links with everyone and see if
anyone has any more links to share:
Cleveland Family Chronicles
http://www.angelfire.com/il/ClevelandFamilyChron/index.html
This site is dedicated to Moses Cleveland who settled in
New England in 1635. His brother Alexander settled in
Virginia at about the same time.
Cleveland and Cleaveland Family Genealogy page
http://home.pacbell.net/rclevela/index.html
Another WWW site dedicated to the escendants of Moses
Cleveland.
Cleveland Family Genealogy Forum
http://genforum.familytreemaker.com/cleveland/
Cleveland Surname Resource Center
http://www.surnameweb.org/registry/c/l/e/cleveland.htm
Unfortuneately, my Cleveland ancestors were not descended
from Moses Cleveland, but instead can be traced back to a
'James Cleveland' who came from England in the early 1790's
to Nova Scotia. Back then, there was a county in England
named 'Cleveland County'. It has now been absorbed by
Durham county. Here's a map to where this county used to
be: http://www.cpoint.co.uk/tw/regions/r5.html
Perhaps some of our ancestors got their name from this
county?

Hi, I'm new to this list.
I subscribed to the "digest mode" of this list back on April 6, 1999
but have so far not recieved any digest emails from this list. Is
this list that dead? or is the "digest mode" broken?
My Cleveland ancestors came from the St. Margarets Bay area of Nova
Scotia, back in the mid-1800's. Anyone else have Clevelands from
there?
