Dear All,
I have just fund that my Edward Drinker CLEAVELAND was born in HALIFAX,
NOVA SCOTIA in c1808. We always thought he came from England (he married in
London in 1837) until the 1861 Census gave us his correct birthplace.
His father's name was JOHN CLEAVELAND. We did have family rumours that
Edward was related to the President, Stephen GROVER Cleveland but had
dismissed them as wishful thinking. I now believe we are not only connected
to him but to MOSES of Martha's Vineyard.
Does anyone have any Nova Scotia Cleavelands/Clevelands?????? I would love
to hear from you.

Hi, just found this new list in the Roots Web listings. Would it be
possible to get a return message from the list owner regarding the
orientation of this Mailing List.
Northern or Southern Lines - NOT the sales pitch but, the truth.
Composition of list members - Northern or Southern group?
Since there is already another one - why this one?
Thanks
