the Samuel Clester I mentioned was a brother to William Henry Clester who was born about 1850 so I dont think the two are connected in that way. My Samuel was the son of Joseph Clester and Margaret Grace.

Mary Lundgren - Do you have ANY information at all about your Reverend Samuel Clester of Nodaway Co., MO? I am a descendant of a Samuel Clester, b 23 January 1813 d 2 Feb 1864 , buried Jackson Co., IL and, reputedly, a son of Mary Magdalena Clester . I wonder if your Samuel and mine might be the same person? Thanks! Diane

Can anyone tell me who first learned of Peter d 1795 Somerset Co., PA and Christiana and where they learned it? I am just curious. I found the names in my grand's notes from the 1930's where she wrote that she wished she knew how they were related to us.
I think Cousin Louis sent me a copy of the will, and then several folks responded to my message board postings. But I do wonder who FIRST learned of them and how.
Thanks!
Diane Shepherd
