Hi folks.
I'm hoping this isn't a repeat email. I tried earlier but.................
Anyway, My last name is Mavity and it's been that way since 1747 in Ulster. I have strong 37 and 67 marker DNA matches with Glendinning (and other variations) and was wondering if there is a site I can compare data on.
FTDNA put's us at having a common ancestor in 1500 with a 98% probability.
Thanks!
Brian Mavity
Greetings folks.
Although my last name is not any of the variations of Clendinen, I have 4 seperate individuals that I match with on 37 markers with 2 GD's. One of these also shows up as a 67 marker match with a GD of 3.
Do you have a DNA site where I might compare information? My family name is Mavity and it's been that way since 1747 in N Ireland. FTDNA is putting my matches at 99% of having a common ancestor with these folks around 1500 or so.
Thanks!
Brian Mavity
