Hi Sharon,
I am sorry to answer you in the negative for your question. The synoptical
does not give that kind of specifics. Further DW's family is not that well
known to me other than I know they lived in Toronto in the 1880's and
1890's. I have met one of his relatives who did live in Montreal, however,
she has subsequently died (approximately 5 years ago). Unfortunately she
did not give me a great deal of current information.
The other reply being being Greg Hahn is more promising.
We'll keep in touch.
Steve and Diane

Hi,
Daniel Webster Clendenan (b 1851) had lived in Jordan, Ontario (next to St
Catharines, On) when younger prior to 1880)
Yes his father was Rev. George Clendenan (d west Toronto junction)
Whose father was Daniel Clendenan,(b May 3, 1793 in St Catherines, Ontario)
I show this Daniel (b 1793) having 7 brothers and sisters
(1788-1799)
He was married to Christina 'Clara' McMillan and they had 7 children:
I'll have to get back to you on the list, got to ask my Mom to clarify.
The youngest child was my grandfather:
Ernest Frank Clendenan (b april 12, 1890 in Toronto) - this was
my grandfather
Daniel Wesbster Clendenan (D.W.) had a cousin George washington Clendenan
M.D. (was major west Toronto in 1895)

Hi,
It has been a while since I talked to you.
I have a copy of the synoptical. Is there anything you need to know and
I'll try and obtain an answer?
All the best,
Steve

Sharon,
Who is the D W you speak of? Feeling rather out of touch at the present!

Hello folks,
Well, I never thought it possible but I got an email from a man who is the great-grandson of, as he puts it "the infamous D. W. Clendenan ..."
He says that the family has never known all that much about the earlier or later life of Daniel.
I believe that he gave his own lineage in the early portion of his book. Can someone supply that information for us?
Thanks,
Sharon
