I checked a different source for Bartholomew Co. marriage records and found the one I previously reported as James to Mary Jane Marman should actually read "Tarman."

Hello everyone,
I just posted the final results for John Mark Clendening. He is a match on 24/25 markers with Randal and George Clendenin, who are both descendants of Joseph Clendenin and Ann(e) Webb. He is also a 23/25 match with Don Clendenin.
I have given you the oldest known ancestor for both Mark and Randal/George below. You will notice that Robert Clendening was born in Co. Tyrone, IRE in 1810 while Joseph's father, William (NC) was also born in Ireland, but in Co. Down according to the parish records there.
Now would be a great time for some more discussion on this list, i.e., Clendenin-DNA-l(a)rootsweb.com. This is one of the nicer matches that's been reported so far.

Thanks for taking the time to ask for me Ken. My Clendening line stopped
with my G Grand, unless I can find some possible brothers of his father, who
have current day relatives, I might be out of the hunt.
Speaking of that:
Several years ago, I found my G Grandfather's (Albert S. Clendening) obit.
He died in Indianapolis, Indiana. His obit said----"He came to Indianapolis
from his birthplace, Columbus, where he was a small boy, and had resided
here ever since.". It listed his father, Frank, as still alive at his time
of death.
I went to the Columbus,Ohio (state right next to Indiana) and searched and
searched the records for someone by their surname to match.
It wasn't until yesterday that I found, on a fluke, that there is a
Columbus, Indiana, and that is where he was born.
So----even though Indianapolis, IN and Columbus, OH are close to each
other,(and very well known by name) always check your beginning state for a
city with the name you are searching !!
Based on the age info. below, Albert must have had a different mother,
unless there was a typo.

I just came from the NGS Conference which was held here is California. I
spoke with Bennett Greenspan who works for FamilyTree DNA. He had the
Clendinen Database with him, and he was able to show me all the rescent results, and
matches and gave me an excellant expelation of the Clendinen and other
projects. It was interesting to see the matches that they have found, but there have
not been as many as I would have liked to see.
I asked him the question written below. He said it is VERY expensive, and
the results is NOT guaranteed. The whole process would have to be done an a
forensic lab under a very sterile conditions. The tooth would have to have no
decay (the decay would influence the final results).

HAIKEY
Jessie L. HAIKEY, was born March 9, 1904 in Broken Arrow. He died July
31, 1980, in Tulsa. Funeral services were held at Haikey Indian
Methodist Church in Broken Arrow officiated by Jesse SULLIVAN and
Willie GOODEN. Interment was in the Bixby Cemetery.
He served in the Merchant Marines and was a heavy construction worker
until returning to Broken Arrow, where he worked for the Tulsa County
Road Department for 20. His interest in art and Indian artifacts led
him to join with a co-owner to established the Two Feathers Indian
Shop in Broken Arrow.
His survivors include one daughter, Lavonne SPRADLING of Bixby; his
grandchildren, Shawna and Jack SPRADLING; one sister, Ruby PARKER; one
great-grandson, Jason SPRADLING; one step-daughter, Morna CLENDENING,
and two step-grandchildren, Ted and Tina CLENDENING.

This cemetery is located on Robbin Hill, just beyond Clendening Corners on the right
of Cable Hollow Road. It was incorporated in 1893. There are many graves without a marker
and some gravestones have deteriorated so no information could be obtained.

According to information that I have, William and Susan Mason are buried here,
William and Sabrina Cook Robbins are buried on the old homestead across the New York
state line on Robbin Hill.

Just corresponded with Cathy O'Hare (SawdustSuzy) who is a descendant of Adam and Winifred through son, Robert and his wife, Martha ANDERSON
Now it occurred to me that Adam (b c 1740) might be a brother of James Clendenen (b c 1736) who married Margaret ANDERSON.
I've got mentions of Adam in the Montgomery Co., VA records from 1782 (property tax list) to 1791 when he was to be paid by his son-in-law, Ferdinand Hamilton for traveling to testify in a Greenbrier Court case.
Do we have a male Clendenen descendant of Adam's who would be willing to be tested?
