Don't waste your money, unless you enjoy looking at out-of-date lists of
CLENDENINs from phone books. This scam has been going on for years. The CD is the
only new wrinkle.
My husband's last name is KERBEN. In New York in 1938, his uncle invented the
name out of the German/Polish/Jewish surname KERSZENBLATT. We recently
received the same yearbook promotion, offering "2000 years of Kerben Family
history."
Incidentally, NO surname that I know of is 2000 years old. The practice of
using surnames didn't become widespread in Britain until after the Norman
invasion (1066) ... later on the continent.

I have recently received an invitation to purchase the year 2003 international Clendenon family yearbook. I will get a unique Clendenon book and CD ROM and newsletter for $39.85 + a one time processing charge of $5.00.
The offer is made through Clendenon Family Yearbook in Denver Co.
Anyone have experience with these guys? Is it reputable or same outfit that was selling books several years ago?
hi:)
Im in Australia, my gggrandfather JAMES GLENDINNING(CLENDINNEN) was from Co
Down Ireland.
His Parents were WILIAM GLENDINNING and ROSEANNE FISHER..James Brother
WILLIAM went to NC in 1700s..to Alamance/Orange County.
Question...In Williams Will it mentions a Beneficiary as Anne his Niece,
Daughter of John..His Brother
Was that the JOHN who went to PA and married JANET HUSTON????
And Also Wondering about this ISAAC Clendenin..Hes mentioned in The HOUSE OF
GLENDONWYN book as John and Janets Son, But apparently in another book about
