I haven't done much on this but here is what I have, is this the guy you are
asking about? maybe someone on the Clendenin list has more

Robert the Bruce secondly married in 1302 Elizabeth, daughter of Richard
de Burgh, Earl of Ulster, who died at Cullen 26 Oct. 1327, and was buried at
Dunfermline by whom he had:
2. Matilda married 'a certain squire' Thomas Isaac
3. Margaret who married in 1343 William, Earl of Sutherland
4. David b. 5 Mar. 1323/4 at Dunfermline, later King; he left no issue and
was succeeded by his nephew, Robert, High Steward of Scotland (see above)
5. John died in childhood
Robert also had illegitimate children:
1. Sir Robert killed at Dupplin 12 Aug. 1332
2. Nigel of Carrick, killed at the Battle of Durham 17 Oct. 1346
3. Margaret who married Robert Glen

Hi,
I am of the line of James b 1752 who died in 1834 West Deer Township. He was
originally (1785 time frame) from Fermangh township, Cumberland (then Miflin
then Juanita counties). I've not known that there were 3 Clendennins in this
area, I have only the one and no relatives or parents for him.
Yes, the unmarried James is the one you referenced and the same as I have
listed above. I'd love to correspond on this.
