Hi Melissa,
I was very pleased and excited to hear from you. Our Bireley connection is through Susanna Bireley (b. 9 July 1827 - d. 9 Nov. 1908 in Beloit, OH) She was married to Reuben Clemson on 8 Sept 1846 in Lancaster, PA. Their daughter, Rachel Ann Clemson, married Alex C. Irvin (my great-grandparents). I have copies of pictures that were placed in an album for Susanna in the 1850's (almost 100 in all) and am willing to share just to see if you can place names to pictures.
Susanna and Reuben had 7 children:
John Bireley Clemson, b. 24 Sept 1848
James Lee Clemson, b. 3 Mar 1949
Francis Erb Clemson, b. 8 Feb. 1851
Rachael Ann Clemson, b. 2 June 1853
Hannah Matilda Clemson, b. 24 Mar 1855
Reuben Enamuel Clemson, b. 24 Aug. 1857
William Penn Clemson, b. 18 May 1862
Can you connect with this line? I'm more than willing to share any information I have and would be excited to see what information you have. I don't have anything further back than Susanna and would really like to further that search.
Will be anxious to hear from you,
take care,
Bonnie (Mather) Woodman
