Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

GASTONIA - Jean R. Clemmer, 81, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 2, 2013.
She was born May 16, 1931 in Lincoln County to the late William Grady and Annie Workman Rhyne. Jean was known throughout the community as "Mama Jean" and will always be remembered for her love of family and her good cooking.
Jean is survived by two children, son, Jerry S. Clemmer and his wife, Lou of Butner, N.C., daughter, Martha Johnson and husband, Michael of Gastonia, N.C.; brother, the Rev. Jack Rhyne and wife, Colleen of Lincolnton, N.C.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Restoring Hope Foursquare Church in Dallas.
Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park in Gastonia.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Dallas Funeral Home and also one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Restoring Hope Foursquare Church or the National Kidney Foundation .
