Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

ODESSA Willie Lewis Clemmer, 86, passed away in Odessa Wednesday, November 28, 2012.
Willie was born November 11, 1926 in Lawn, Texas (Taylor County). Willie was the son of Thomas Earl and Mary Ann Wilson Clemmer. He served in the Navy during World War II being honorably discharged in 1946.
Willie moved from Eastland to Odessa in 1951, working in the oil field work for about 25 years. He was employed at Permian High School as a custodian for several years, then with the postal service for 10 years, retiring in 1990.
He enjoyed outdoor activities, doing wood work and different kinds of crafts. He loved family dearly, and one of his favorite activities was attending family reunions. With the passing of so many of his loved ones it is a comfort to know that he is now reunited with them and is with the Lord.
Willie was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and five sisters.
He is survived by one sister, Juanita Chipman of Odessa, one sister-in-law, Mary Lois Clemmer of Hamlin and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2012 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.
Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
