Clemmer, Ruth Lorayne
89, joined her beloved husband Charley Wayne Clemmer (d. 2003) in the presence of God on Oct. 20, 2011. Born on the James family farm near Evant, TX on Jan. 10, 1922, she was the last surviving member of her generation of 17 Jameses (9 children) and Clemmers (8 children). Ruth was a courageous and loving person of firm Christian faith, thankful for the many joys in her life. Legally blind for more than 30 years, she "made the papers" when she scored a hole-in-one in tournament golf. She was secretary to the principals of Morenci (AZ) schools for many years, making friends across generations. She cherished her family and her many friends. She is survived by sons Ken (Patti) and John; grandsons Kevin, Brian (TJ) and Darin (Nancy); great-grandchildren Aaron, Brodie, Braden, Jackson and Madison; nephews John A. DALLAS - Allie Pearl Pasour Clemmer died Oct. 23, 2011, at Alexandria Place.
She was a native of Gaston County, daughter of the late Vivian Grant Pasour and Lola Taylor Pasour.
Allie was employed at Mary Jo's Cloth Store for 19 years, Luxury Fabrics for 10 years and was a charter member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church, Dal-las, serving faithfully on various committees, including WELCA, witness, choir and prayer team.
Allie is survived by her children and their spouses: Barry and Peggy Clemmer of West Jefferson, NC; Michael and Sara Clemmer of Birmingham, AL; David and Susan Clemmer Raleigh, NC; and Alice and Nick Vlaservich of Dallas; four granddaughters , Kristy and David Cloninger of Belmont; Charla and Troy Powell of Summerville, SC; Kellie and Sam Marr of Dallas; Leslie Vlaservich of Brighton, England and seven great-grandchildren: Maggie Cloninger, Kit Cloninger, Morgan Dawson, Jack Dawson, Daniel Powell, Stephen Powell and Logan Marr; one brother, Boyce Paysour of Monroe, NC; and sister-in-laws: Edith Paysour of Denver, NC and Mae Pasour of Gastonia, NC.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, Kelly; brothers: Aubrey Pasour and Ralph Paysour and sister-in-law Sue Paysour.
Visitation will be 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. Friday at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 725 Gastonia Technology Parkway, Dallas.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. with the Rev. Carl M. Haynes and the Rev. Dr. Gil Gilbert officiating.
Interment will be held at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia following the funeral service.

Mrs. Agnes Prince Parris Clemmer, age 86 of McCaysville passed away Saturday morning, August 13, 2011.
MRS. AGNEN PRINCE PARRIS CLEMMER
Mrs. Agnes Prince Parris Clemmer, age 86 of McCaysville passed away Saturday morning, August 13, 2011. She was born in Fannin County Georgia April 3, 1925, the daughter of the late Lester and Nancy Harrison Prince.
Mrs.Clemmer was an active member of Williamstown United Methodist Church for over sixty years, Williamstown WSCS, and the Primetime Choir. She was a retired educator serving over twenty-two years in the Polk County school system, and a member of the Retired Teachers Assn. She enjoyed traveling.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Edwin Parris and A.J. Clemmer; brothers, James Earl Prince and E.L. Prince; sisters, Juanita Scarborough and Forrestine Brookshire.
Survivors include, sons and daughters-in-law, Leonard and Jo Parris, Eddie and Cheryl Parris; sisters, Jean Moore, Mary Parker and Martha Helton; grandsons and spouses Mark and Angela Parris, and Nathan and Jamie Parris; granddaughters and spouses, Tara Parris (Robert) Fraley and Manda Carol (Mike) Gwatney; great grandchildren, Sarah Parris, Reece Parris, Carson Parris, Jacob Fraley, Kristin Parris, Hannah Fraley, Leah Fraley, Hope Parris, Lora Gwatney; step-great-grandchildren, Evan Bobo, Andrew Barbour, Courtney Barbour and Robin Hunt; nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services were held Monday, August 15, 2011 at 2:00PM from Williamstown United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Black and Rev. Danny Parris officiating. Music will be by the Primetime Choir and the great-grandchildren.
The following grandchildren and nephews were asked to serve as pallbearers, Richard Prince, Tommy Prince, Bobby Brookshire, Bennie Brookshire, Steve Moore, Barry Parker, Charles Gilreath, Greg Gilreath, Mark Parris, Nathan Parris, Robert Fraley and Mike Gwatney.
Honorary escort, members of Williamstown United Methodist Church Adult Sunday School Class and Polk County Retired Teachers.
Interment followed in the Morganton Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family received friends at the Finch Cochran Funeral Home Sunday evening August 14, 5:00 to 9:00 PM.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donation may be made the Williamstown Methodist Church Building Fund at P.O. Box 219 McCaysville, Ga. 30555.
