Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Joe Bailey Clemmer Sr.
DALLAS - Joe Bailey Clemmer Sr., 75, of Ashebrook Park Road, died Oct. 18, 2009, at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
A native of Gaston County, he was the son of the late Wayne and Nell Clemmer.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Betty Bradbury Clemmer of Dallas; daughter, Jill Petzold and husband, Bryan of Dallas; son, Joe Clemmer Jr. and wife, Marissa of Gastonia; brothers, Albert Clemmer of Maryland, Dan Clemmer of Dallas; sister, Wayne Ann Penley of Dallas; grandchildren, Jason Spurrier of Dallas, Noelle Agnew and husband, Blake of Leland, Ethan Petzold of Dallas; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Calvin and Doyle Clemmer; and sister, Iris White.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Our Saviour Lutheran Church with Pastor David Martin officiating. Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:30 p.m. at the church prior to the service.

Clemmer, Dale
Dale L. Clemmer, 86 of Midland, died Wednesday, July 1. He is survived by three sons, Ronnie D. Clemmer of Encino, CA; Terry L. Clemmer of Midland; Greg Clemmer of Conroe and two brothers, Danny Clemmer of Willow, OK; and Richard Clemmer of Snyder. The family will receive friends at Ellis Funeral Home Sunday, July 5, between the hours of 12-3 p.m. Entombment will take place 10 a.m., at Resthaven Memorial Park with memorial services to follow at 11 a.m., Monday, July 6 at St. Luke's United Methodist Church.
