Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

June 30, 1930-Sept. 1, 2008 Duane E. Clemmer, beloved husband and father, was born in Cedar Rapids, IA, on June 30, 1930. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Celina; daughters, Stephanie Clemmer of Fremont, Catherine Osborne (Stephen) of St. Joseph, MO; sons, Gregory and Patrick Clemmer of Fremont; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard & Katie Clemmer, and brother, Donald Clemmer. Elizabeth Jane Clemmer Breish, born April 24, 1917, departed this world on August 13, 2008 at her home in Mount Laurel.
She was the daughter of Florence and Paul Clemmer of Philadelphia. Sister of Richard Clemmer, who was killed in action in Normandy in 1944, and is survived by her sister, Florence Carol Crain of Silver Spring, MD; her niece, Judith Crain of Germantown, MD; her nephew, Alan Crain of Houston, TX and three great niece and nephews.
Betty worked for the Federal Reserve Bank in Philadelphia for over fifty years, where she meet her dear and wonderful husband, Walter through their activities at the camera club. They were married on October 25, 1958 and Walter preceded her into the hands of the Lord in 1982. They were both members of the First United Methodist Church of Moorestown.
Funeral service: 10 AM, Tuesday, August 19th at the First United Methodist Church, Camden and Pleasant Valley Ave., Moorestown, NJ. Private interment in Northwood Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested contributions to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Marlton, NJ 08053 or the First United Methodist Church of Moorestown.

CLEMMER, Stuart N. Stuart N. Clemmer, 91 [90], of Farmington, loving
husband of Florence (Cuccinello) Clemmer, passed away peacefully on
Monday, (August 25, 2008) at The Avon Health Center. Born in Billerica
[Boston], MA on October 17, 1917, he was the son of the late Charles
Gerard Clemmer and Bessie May (Cummings) Clemmer. Besides his wife of 64
years, he is predeceased by his brother, Harold Clemmer; his sister,
Florence Duguld [Duguid] and an infant son, Richard Charles Clemmer. He
is survived by his son, Stuart "Chip" Clemmer, Jr. and his wife, Carol
Rumburg Clemmer of College Park, MD and his daughter, Carol Scarrozzo of
Unionville. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Nicholas
Joseph Scarrozzo of Unionville and Barbara Lafferty and her husband,
Richard of Delmare [Delmar], MD; two great-grandchildren, Zachary
Russell Bettes and Faith Joanne Lafferty of Delmare [Delmar], MD and
many cherished relatives. Stuart and his wife, Florence moved to
Farmington in 1953 [1949] where he taught U.S. History, Geography,
Social Studies, and English for over 30 years in the Farmington Schools.
He earned his Bachelor degree from Fitchburg State Teachers College in
Fitchburg, MA and a Master's degree in Education [U.S. History] from
Boston University. He was also active with the Boy Scouts. He served in
the U.S. Air Force as a tall [waist] gunner and radio operator from
October 27, 1942 to May 25, 1945. He served under the 5th Bombardment
Group, 31st Bombardment Squadron in Asia Pacific including New Guinea,
Bismark Archipelago, Eastern Mandates, and the Southern Philippines.
Stuart enjoyed his home and his family as well as gardening and
vacationing in Maine. His gentle spirit will be missed by so many who
loved him. Friends may call at The Ahern Funeral Home, 111 Main St., Rt.
4, Unionville on Thursday, Aug. 28 from 5-7 p.m. Funeral services and
burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of
flowers, donations may be made to The Avon Health Center Resident
Council Fund, 652 West Avon Rd., Avon, CT 06001.
