Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
We have made an update to our online database adding more that 8,500 new names bringing our total to now over 658,000 names online. To take a look, please see:

Barbara Lee Morisse
Barbara Lee Morisse, 74, of Arkansas City, died Thursday, Aug. 14, 2008, at her residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008, at the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Arkansas City. Pastor Mark Boxman will officiate. Interment will follow in the Parker Cemetery. Barbara was born Sept. 28, 1933, in Wharton, W.V., to Ray Clemmer and Dagmar Mae (Fisher) Clemmer. Barbara worked for the Harper County Health Department in Anthony, Kan., until moving to Arkansas City in 1996. Survivors include her son, Randy Morisse, of Enid, Okla.; daughters, Sandy Tope, of Arkansas City, Janet Delanty, of Wichita; sister, Pat Geer, of Wichita, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard R. Morisse, in 2004, and a son-in-law.
Memorials have been established with the Redeemer Lutheran Church or Harry Hynes Hospice. Contributions may be made through the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home, Arkansas City. On-line condolences may be made at: www.rindt-erdman.com.
