Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
MaryEllen Clemmer Markloff died in her retirement home February 2007. She was burried next to her husband Captain Raymond Markloff (USN RET).
Mary Ellen was thhe daughter of Dr. Leon and Mary Steele Clemmer. She lived almost her entire life in the Mount Airy section of Philadelphia Penna.. She was active in the Emergency Aid and Meals on Wheels and many other charitable organizations. She is survived by the brothers Leon and David Clemmer and her Children Ellen Williams, Susan Markloff, Mary and sons Raymond and William

William "Billy" Lynwood Clemmer, 76, of Staunton, formerly of
Charlottesville, died Monday, April 23, 2007.
Born October 5, 1930 in Augusta County, he was the son of the late Marvin
Baylor and Ada Eve Beed Clemmer and was the husband of the late Nancy
Ruth Clemmer.
Mr. Clemmer was a retired heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by two daughters, Gloria Wright and her husband, Bob, and Brenda Knox; two sons, Michael Chidester and his wife, Gloria, and Larry Clemmerand his wife, Pam; 12 grandchildren, Jennifer, Kristi and Stacy Clemmer, Shannon, Adam and Joshua Chidester, Brian Wood, Heather and Christy Wright,
Bridgett, Brian and Evan Chidester; and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2007, at the Teague Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Roger Browning officiating. Intermentwill follow at Holly Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2007, at the Teague Funeral Home.
