Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Charles Clemmer - 1938
Following an operation in a Detroit hospital, Charles Clemmer, 29, of 1244
Philadelphia avenue, Detroit, former resident of Gans, died at 12:30 o'clock
Sunday afternoon.
The deceased was a native of Fayette county, and lived in Gans, near Point
Marion until about eight years ago when he went into the radio business in the
mid-western city.
Surviving are his widow, Mary Deloris, his father, J. N. Clemmer, Gans; and
five brothers and two sisters, Jesse Andrew, Gans; Russell, Smithfield; Fred,
Vestaburg; Mrs. Gladys Dodson, Point Marion; Mrs. Mabel Newbraugh, Vestaburg;
James, of Gans, and J. N. Jr.; Gans.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock in the
Cooper's Funeral Parlors at Mick street, Detroit.

Nora M. Clemmer - 1937
Mrs. Nora M. Clemmer, of Gans, died at the Uniontown hospital Tuesday
evening, July 6, 1937, at 7:57 o'clock. She was 53 years of age.
Mrs. Clemmer is survived by her husband, Newton Clemmer, and the following
children: Jesse and Albert of Lake Lynn; Russell, of Smithfield; Fred, of
Vestaburg; Mrs. John Dodson and James, of Gans; Mrs. Mabel Newbrough, of
Vestaburg, and Charles, of Detroit.
The following brothers and sisters, all of Morgantown, W. Va., also survive;
George Hayden, William Hayden, Mrs. Carrie Crow and Mrs. Annie Manier.
The funeral party will meet at the home of Mrs. Dodson at Gans, at 1:30
o'clock Friday afternoon and will go from there to the Tyrone church near
Morgantown where funeral services will be conducted. Burial will be in the Pierpont
cemetery.

passed away in a local hospital early Saturday after a long

clear] of Albuquerque; Mr and Mrs W.E. Clemmer of Big Lake TX, Mrs.
Artie Lowman and Herman Lowman of Corpus Christi, TX; two great
grandmother, Mrs Annie K... of Albuquerque and Mrs. E.R. Clemmer of
Abilene, TX. Funeral services are being directe by Strong-Thorne
Mortuary.
