Hello Sara....
This is what I have regarding Mary Hockman: Her father was Henry Hockman
(Source:
History of the Rosenberger/Swartley family) and mother was Barbara O. Fretz, b.
1773,
d. 1821(Same source as above).
Barbara O. Fretz's parents were: Christian Fretz (1734-1803) and Barbara
Oberholtzer
(1737-1823).
As far as the children of John Rosenberger & Mary Hockman I have the following
info:
John (1832-1910) married Anna S. (Nancy) Clemmer (1838-1917)
Elizabeth (b. 1827) married John Anders
Mary (1830-1895) married David H. Anders
Henry (1834-1890) married Mary Frick (abt. 1836-1918)
Samuel (1836-1918) married Elizabeth D. Stover (1841-1877)
Abraham (b. 1838) married Anna S. Kulp (1850-1906)
Sarah Ann (b. 1840) married Enos Landes
Nancy (1842-1880)
William (1844-1845)
Catherine (1828-1911) married Ephraim R. Landis (1824-1901)
I believe that most of this info was found on the internet at Rootsweb (in
addition to the
Rosenberger/Swartley Family History).

Subject: [HALLMAN] Hallman Anniversary
To All Hallmans:
Hi, I'm Dick Hallman, a list member since inception, and I have followed all
the comments and e-mails over the last four years closely. It's interesting
seeing how widespread the Hallman family really is and how the list has
grown. I am currently living in Las Vegas with my wife Ruth and we've been
here in the Sun City retirement community for almost nine years. We're
originally from Aurora, Illinois just west of Chicago and lived there for the
first 30 years of our lives. We have also lived in Wisconsin, California,
Utah and now Nevada. We have two daughters that are living in Ventura Cty.
California and five grandchildren. There aren't many "Brick Walls" in our
line since we have had the luxury of the original Henry Hallman book which
was followed by the Joan Hallman book in the early nineties which really gave
us a wealth of information on the Hallman's of Canada.
Our Hallmans were those that migrated to Canada in 1825 and the line was as
follows:
. . .
Benjamin Hallman II
+Elizabeth Detweiler
Joseph Hallman
+Susannah Clemmer
