I am a descendent of Henrich and Maria Clemmer through their daughter
Anna, who married Jacob Geil.
My g-g-g-g-grandmother on my mother's side was a Geil.
Anyways, I was encouraged to join the list serve.
I'm sure this has probably gone around a hundred times in the group, but
I will bring up the topic again.
There is obvious disagreement as to the parents of Henrich and as to his
arrival in the U.S. I a new to this discussion and have no reason to
want him to be from any particular place.
May I ask for those of you who have formed an opinion to offer me the
evidence (circumstantial or otherwise) as to why you believe what you do
about his ancestory and his date of arrival?
Thanks!
