Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Dear all Clemmer researchers,
I just updated my Ahnentafel and well of course there are some Clemmers. If
you have interest in PA Dutch (specifically Montgomery and Bucks Counties)
then you are more than welcome to look at it. You may find it from my site
(don't you hate it when people start off with a picture of themselves, I
do, but I did it anyway!):

Dear all, I was the one who called it Clammer Connections. I *messed up*
and there is no Clemmer Connections. I know the internet gets lots of
people jumping to conclusions. Rumour may sometimes start and then there's
no controlling it. But I made a mistake. :-) There are no Connections only
exchange.
Thanks John for your kind offer. I will send you $12.00 US money to cover
extra postage to Canada.

Clemmer Rooters,
I am trying to track down information on some of my Clemmer ancestors.
Specifically, I am interested in information on the ancestry of
Barbara CLEMMER, who married Jacob Reiff CLEMENS ca 1728. My guess is
that she was born around 1705, but I have no other real information on
her.
I am fairly well set with information on her descendents, (particular
those of her daughter Barbara who married into the Ziegler family) and
would be more than happy to share/swap.
Thank you in advance.

Are the Clemmers you found at LDSFHC spread all over the country or
nailed down to one specific area? My connections seem to be primarily in
the Pa Dutch area of Pennsylvania. I have an elusive Barbara Clemmer with
no obvious roots that I can find.

I have what appears to be a complete Clemmer Exchange -- I can photocopy
and mail it for $10.00. Mine is from the microfilm at the LDS FHC in Salt

Two things,
I was wondering if anyone had any back copies of Clemmer Connections? I'd
love to obtain some photocopies (of course I'd pay for them!). I had posted
a query regarding Valentin Klemmer a while back. Several people were nice
enough to respond with a URL, but there were no primary sources (or any
sources at all!) so that is not much help. And nothing else to go on except
rumour.
I am trying to look into whether "Felty" Klemmer was the same who died in
Conestoga, later Lancaster Co, and was the grandfather of Valentine
Hunsicker (of Montgomery Co) and if so, if there is any proof. The two
Valentines arrived in 1717 (the parents of V. H. has already died whilst in
Switz.)
Also, I am having problems receiving some mail on the list. I am getting
formatted text for web pages (in html mockup). Could the author resend the
last mail in text form? Thanks.
I guess three things. Happy holidays!

Milo,
I sent this same message to the Klemmer site you mentioned, but am
not yet sure if it got through. Here's the info I sent.
My great-great grandmothers's sister was Caroline Justina Czysch b 1824
in Sawust, Konitz, West Prussia. She married a Franz Klemmer who was
born before 1824, I assume.
They had three children, I have information on:
Carl August Klemmer b 1851
Bertha Auguste Klemmer b 1852 and
Johann Friedrich Klemmer b 1853.
Do you recognize any of these Klemmers? I have information that goes
back more than 100 years on this maternal line.

I knew it, we have generated so much traffic the people at rootsweb had to start an archive. The following URL and brief explanation was recieved a couple of days ago. It was noted the project was very much in Beta form so if things don't work quite right give it a chance. It may take a few days to function as designed.

Yes, this is apparently true. He apparently could not write. But he had no
will either so I don't know much more about this.
There has been some speculation that Henrich Clemmer and Johann Andres
Clemmer were brothers. Me thinks cousins. If the info in the Clemmer
Exchange regarding the parents of Johann is true, then the father was born
circa 1688 and the mother 1690. Henrich was born in 1700. The parents
furthermore were not married until 1710. Again Henrich being born in 1700.
Does anyone know about Valentine Klemmer, the one born in 1655? I'm
wondering if this is not the same as the grandfather of Hunsicker clan in
PA. Any info on this?
