My Clements family came into Onondaga County NY about the 1840's from
Somerset County, England. I believe some of them probably moved to
surrounding counties. Is there any one out there researching this line?
I will be happy to share!

Emanuel "Moses" CLEMENTS(1814KY-??) md. Martha (Black?Balch?)
HARDIN(1817TN-1867TX) and parented Emanuel Mannen CLEMENTS(1845TX),
The census administrator in 1850 Limestone Co.,TX (p.360/61) had too much
tequilla the day he was consolidating the field sheets to the ones you see on
microfilm today. Both Clements & Hardin families are skewed.

Manning Clements was supposedly a cousin of John Wesley
Hardin the famous outlaw and also his gang member at times.
Does anyone have Manning's parents and grandparents
documented?
How does he fit in the Gonzales CO & Colorado CO TX Clements
families?
thanks

Seeking information on Clement Clements (or Clemens) who is shown in the Censuses in Marion County, GA, spouse Martha Butler. I believe he was the son of Clement Clements, Sr., a Revolutionary Soldier.
He is a g-g-grandfather of mine. His daughter Mary Elizabeth Clements married William David McMickle, and they had two daughters who were both the first (Martha Victoria McMickle) and second (LeAnna McMickle)spouses of my g-grandfather, William Edmond Cooper. Martha (Mattie) died very early, possible in childbirth, ca. 1881. William then married her younger sister Leanna, who bore all of their children. She also died in 1897.
I believe Clement and Martha Clements may have also had a daughter named Eleanor or Ellender who married another of the Cooper line, John Cooper born 1815 in Sampson County, NC.
