Jesse Clemens/Clements/Clemmons, born 1794 in North Carolina, moved to
Arkansas about 1828. Apparently he died in Washington Co, Arkansas in 1835.
I know that he settled in Washington Co, Arkansas, and I'm sure some
descendents still live there.
He married Elizabeth, last name unknown.
Daughter Sarah E., born 1823 in Tennessee married Hardy Harp.
Daughter Nancy Jane born May 17, 1826 in Tennessee married Absolum Apse Harp.
Many of the Harps still live in that part of Arkansas.

Child Emigration Movement
Between 1869 & 1930, more than 100,000 children were sent to Canada from
Great Britain during the child emigration movement.Children were thought to
have a better chance for a moral & healthy life in Canada. Families welcomed
the children as a source of cheap domestic & farm labor.

Hello,
I am still looking to find out more information regarding the parents of my
8th great grandmother, Mary SYMONDS/SYMONS, who married (Sir) John EARLE, and
the maiden name of the 2nd wife of (Sir) John EARLE and the name of her 1st

as the 1st name of her 3rd husband who was named ? HOWELL. (I have HOWELL
lineage that I descend from and I am interested in finding if and where they
connect.)
Please see the brief information below.
Sincerely,
Bellinda Myrick - Barnett

The daughter of Mary SYMONDS/SYMONS and (Sir) John EARLE who was named Mary
