I just wanted to tell you how excited I was when I started receiving the
photocopies this evening. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this,
as I know that scanning can be very time consuming. I was getting ready to
go to bed but got engrossed in reading through them. I have printed them all
out, I don't mean to sound ungrateful but am hoping that there's more!? The
page numbers were cut off from the first 2 pages, but I'm assuming that they
are pgs 18, and 19? Also were pages 21 and 31 left out on purpose? Thanks
again!!

Shirley. I did not number the pages the way they are numberd in the book. I
numberd them from 1 to 18 as I scanned them. I sent them by auto mail and
they didn't send in the order I placed them. However, all 18 pages have been
sent. Sue

The page 22 is the page number in the book not the same as the way I numberd
the pages . I numberd then in the order I scanned them. I will recheck the
fourth page. Thank you.

I just scanned 18 pages on the Clements line. It appears to be part of a
book. Someone sent this to me and I don't remember who. It does not state
the author or researcher. I would certainly like to give him/her credit.
However, if anyone wants a copy , it is a JPEG file. Sue Baldwin
I would like to see if anyone has come across of information of
DARIUS CLEMENTS
(Years ago I had a note, this person connected to Pope's)
In Clement Cuzins Home page:
Clement was the name of the four popes before the end of the 13th
century, on a saint of the first century, and two of them during the
surname period, and the name become well established throughout
Europe. Clement was a fellow worker with Paul of Philippi. His name
written in "the book of life" (Phil, 4:3) a feature that made the name a
greatfavorite in all Christian countries.
Name spelled Clements, Clemons , Clemens, Clement and others.
Have a number of Grandparents in R. I. Conn. N. J. to name a few,
so many refer to Rel. Darius Clements.
I am having considerable difficulty with the Family line.
Dead End Nehemiah Clemence (our spelling of the name in some
records B ca 1773 Gloucestire R.I. (Providence Co.)
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Also have a Nephi Clement listed as Rel. on some records.

I ran into an instance where the father was identified as ***DO NOT
ISSUE***. I then checked for that name for the father and found 21,585 such
records. I could not believe that there were that many "protected" unwed
fathers, so I contacted the Texas State Dept of Health for an explanation.
It seems that when a person dies and the Department can identify his birth
certificate, they change the father's name to ***DO NOT ISSUE*** as an
internal code to not issue a certified copy of that birth certificate to
anyone claiming to be the deceased person! Obviously they are not catching
very many death/birth relationships as I only found 1 out of the 100 or so
deceased people I have checked.
Anyway, thought all the listers might "enjoy" another instance of the
bureaucratic mentality of dealing with a legitimate issue.
