I just recently went through my grandmothers pictures again that I had
copied in the early 1970s. One whole batch appears to be friends and
distant relations that I cannot place. Most appear to be 1900 or earlier
from the clothing and the type of original photo - mounted in a very old
album.
There is 1 picture marked in pencil "Uncle Ben Clement" showing an elderly
gentleman in a fine suit of clothes. No dates. Picture may have been made
in Freestone county, TX as that is where my grandmother lived, or made
elsewhere and mailed to relatives in the Luna Community.
I ASSUME that Ben Clement is a brother of Agnes T Clement 1804-1888 that
married Champness Terry Echols in 1828 in Campbell Co, VA, moved to
Henderson CO, TN, then on to Rusk and Freestone Counties Texas.
If anyone wants a .jpg scan of this picture please contact me privately.
Maybe someone else knows for sure how Uncle Ben fits in.

Hello fellow Clements Listers!
Most of you are ahead of me, I think. I'm still looking for A Wright
Clements, married to Mary, Who immigrated to Philadelphia, PA, USA around
1865. Does anybody out there have any info? Wright and Mary had a son Thomas,
born around 1852.
Thanks!
Clark
I am new to this list, researching origins of my 19th century Clements
family in Ireland. I have found a Rev Joseph Clement in Roscrea, Co.
Tipperary in 1621.
I also have the tree of Daniel Clements who died in Ireland in 1680. He had
a son Robert born 1664 and a daughter called Lydia.
Can someone on this list please tell me what is known about the origins of
Robert and Lydia Clements - particularly time and place? Thanks very much.
Barbara Holt in New Zealand.
