These were large families who had many other members as well. ANY

Looking for info regarding George Henry Clement, b.
10/25/1858--d.-9/22/1918. He married Ella Kennedy, b.
3/7/1862--d.6/12/1930. I think George was orginally from
Alsace-Larraine area.
George was a farmer and carpenter. They lived in the Oglesby, Illinois
area and had thirteen children--Edith, Mable, Florence, Edna, William,
Irma (her twin died in a buggy accident when an infant). These are the
only names I know. Edith was my grandmother and married a Cridge from
the Oglesby, Illinois area. I appreciate any help.

My husband's grandfather was Jessee M. Clemons, born in Alabama in 1881.He
married Minnie Wilson, born in Alabama in 1884, they were married the 3rd of
August, 1901. One of their children was Carswell Clemons, my husband's father.
Carswell Clemons was born in Morgan County, Alabama in 1908. This is all I
know
about them, except when Jessee M. Clemons signed the marriage certificate, he
signed his last name Clemmons. My husband's family since, have all spelled
their
name with one m.

I am hazy on dates but Samuel CLEMMONS, married to Jane, appears in an 1822
land record when he sells land to Samuel and George CLEMMONS. Son Samuel
marries Hannah SUNDERLAND. A will exists for Samuel in which he leaves
things to severn children and wife Hannah. Those children identified are:
Eliza Clemmons Copenhaver(b. 11/10/1810), Samuel Clemmons (who moved to
Fulton Co. Ill with the Copenhavers), George Clemmons (who stayed in
Huntingdon Co.) , Susan (who married Elliot Robley and stayed in PA).
I am passing along more information on Clements from my notes. Hope this
helps someone.

I do know that they had one daughter who was named Jane. Jane was born in
