Johann was my 4th Greatgrandfather, married Johanna Frolich ( Fralich ). He was born in Schmalkalden,Thuringia,Germany in 1764 I believe. He fought in the Hessen-Kassel regiment in the Revolutionary War. He died in Lennox, Ontario Canada and was a United Empire Loyalist. I would like some help on finding out his exact birthdate and date of his death as well as his parents names. Any help would e appreciated. Thanks

Hello.
I am descended from Simon and Zephaniah by z's daughter Susannah who married James Terry.
I have recently been looking for stories or more information on Z's rev war service. Any notes out there? He is given as 96th from Edgefield SC militia. Pickens' brigade after Charleston falls. But I like the stories in addition to facts...
Or pedigree? Seems everyone is unsure on how all the Clements "got mixed up" in antebellum and colonial times.
Thank you all.
Aka y'all :)
