His son: Marten Olofsson Seppa B 1520 D 1585. I believe you can check out my Clement Family tree for all the info I have.

Hello,
I'm curious, can you fill me in on who actually came from Finland and on to Sweden. Was that a man called Olof Clement? That could likely be my uncle...
Thanks,
John Clement

My own branch, originally from France, then Germany (the northeast part) is one more example of the many branches this family's ancestors have travelled before us.

Pauline fell at home on December 7, 2009 and broke her hip. Her niece had her moved to Green Hills so she could visit Pauline every day and help when needed.
She was born on February 7, 1920 to the late Phillip Clifton and Katherine Elizabeth (Temple) Johnson on the family farm near Mt. Victory, Ohio in Dudley Township.
She was preceded in death by her sister Bernice C. Harmon, brother Richard H. Johnson Sr., a nephew Richard H. Johnson Jr. and brother in law George O. Harmon.

Pauline married James Clement on August 13, 1943. Jim shipped out the first week of September 1943 and he was in the Night Fighter Squadron at Sardinia, an island off Italy and his plane went down on May 1, 1944.
She never remarried because she thought that Jim might not be dead since the army didn't find his body or plane.
Pauline worked at the Marion Depot then when it moved to Columbus, Ohio she drove from Marion for 36 years.
Pauline helped many neighbors and friends.
There will be private graveside services at the LaRue Cemetery in LaRue, Ohio. Arrangements are being handled by the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in LaRue.

Thanks for the reply. You would be a first cousin to my husband, Larry Joe Wood. His mother, Jewell, was the youngest of the children of Leonard and Elsie Clement. Larry was an only child. We are interested in pictures of Elsie. Jewell had only one picture and it was a not for sure identification. Jewell was a baby when Elsie died. Please contact me by email... eva1960(a)aol.com and we can exchange what information we have. I would love to build my husbands genealogy and I'm sure he'd like to correspond with you. Thanks Larry and Eva Wood

Leonard Clement was my great-father. He is buried in the Bear Thicket Cemetery in Laclede County, MO along with his first two wives. He and Elsie as you mentioned had Chester, Pearl, Oral, Roy, and Jewell. Elsie died. He and second wife(can't recall her name) had Joann. This 2nd wife died while giving birth to the next child. Later on Leonard married Ruby the third wife who outlived him by many years.
Chester (my grandfather) married Letha O'Dell and they had one son only (my Dad). I have two brothers one of which is Pastor at the Bear Thicket Church (formerly Methodist, now Free Will Baptist)that Leonard Clement was active in.
Pearl had two sons. Oral had a son and a daughter, Roy had 1 daughter, Jewell had one son. Joann, I believe had 4 children.
I would like to know who more about Leonard Clement's siblings, parents, grandparents etc.
