It looks like it would be of great interest to anyone in this line. I'm not of this family, nor am I the seller. I'd just hate for it to go unnoticed.

Sometimes sons were given land and established in this way rather than in their father's will. In my family and my husband's, the surviving parent deeded the family properties prior to death, thereby avoiding probate.

Has anyone checked Anthony's probate records or land records to see if Thomas P. is mentioned?

I'm still searching for some proof that Obedience Rogers and Anthony Clement were parents of Thomas P. Clement. I have found a brief newspaper announcement of the death of Obedience and Anthony's subsequent marriage to Rebecca Rogers (2 separate notices).
The names you mention are all familiar to me, as I have been researching the Clement line for a long time. That is awesome that you have the pie safe that belonged to Anthony and Rebecca.
Hope you will have some info to share .......

I've researched the Clement family line, Joseph Janse Clement (Grandfather of Lambert) was also the brother of Peter and Johannes Clement. They were all sons of Jan Clement and Maria Boucquet. Jan was a French Huguenot, Maria was Dutch.
Johannes (father of Lambert) had 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Older brother was Jacobus who married Jannetie Van Woert.
Younger brother was Ludovicus Cobes Clement (my direct ancestor)...
Johannes was a patriot while both his brothers, who worked for the Indian Department under Sir Wm Johnson, were Loyalists.
[but this is just the tip of the ice-burg of the Clement family history]
My question: Johannes and Rachel had Annatie Clement Ch: Jan 1, 1755
and Lambert Clement of Cagnawago b: June 4, 1757 Johnstown d: Mar 31, 1842 ....... did they have any other children?
also Lambert and Maria Veder had 7 sons and 1 daughter, I know of Richard and William B. .......anyone know who the other children were?
